Since its inception in 2003, Santaris Pharma a/s and its partners have created a diversified pipeline with four clinical stage LNA drugs and a significant number of compounds in the pre-clinical stage in oncology, metabolic disorders and infectious diseases.

The progress continued in 2008, when the Company and its partners identified ten new drug leads and brought two drugs into Investigational New Drug (IND) applications or clinical trials, one of which was the first LNA drug for an infectious disease. As Santaris Pharma and its partners deepen the understanding of LNA drugs in the coming years we hope to expand into new areas of disease providing hope for more and more patients.
